Run either the 10AM start or the 6PM start under a full moon, OR run BOTH! This event is Co-promoted
with our good friends at Team DART-nuun-Sportmulti and SportMulti (vitamin and Mineral Supplement for athletes). The event will also be supported by our other generous partners-nuun (electrolyte enhanced drink tabs), Feed the Machine (endurance sports nutrition store), Hydrapak (packs and hydration systems), and Sporteve, women’s active wear store where packet pickup will take place.
Packet pickup is also available on race day at the event start.

Malibu Course Map

The starting line is 5 miles up Corral canyon Road
from the junction of PCH and Corral Canyon.
Corral Canyon is a paved road that winds up into the
Santa Monica Mountains. See parking and shuttle info above.

10K and half marathon distances are available for both events, and if you sign up to run both, plan on spending the afternoon with us in the gorgeous Malibu mountains. We will provide the picnic lunch!

The 10K and half marathon courses will be on 100% single track along one of the most beautiful sections of the iconic Backbone Trail in the Santa Monica Mountains. The course will take you across ridges and through tree covered (and cool) canyons. Don’t be surprised when you come around a corner or crest a ridge and are greeted with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. If you’re an avid trail runner, you’ll love the course and if you’re new to trail running, we can’t think of a prettier course to experience the freedom of trail running. The half marathon will have a total elevation gain of 2,500’ and the 10K will have 900'.

All participants will receive shirts, nuun water bottles, medals, and some excellent products from all our sponsors at the event raffle.
We'll also be giving away 2 pairs of Vasque shoes!!!

Light and Motion makes some of the best lights for
athletes and they will have a limited number of Stella 300 lights
with headstraps (pictured below) for demo.
